Santa’s Candy Castle
Santa's Candy Castle is a magical place now open to the public after undergoing an extensive renovation. Since the Candy Castle opened its doors in 1935 as the first tourist attraction in Santa Claus, Indiana, and the first themed attraction in the United States, it has delighted thousands of all ages. At the Castle visitors can: visit with Santa, pose for a picture and sign his "Good Book, "sample delicious handmade confections, and see the world’s largest selection of gourmet candy canes.

The Santa Claus Museum
The museum contains artifacts and photographs from Museum Founder and Holiday World Owner Pat Koch’s private collection, the Holiday World archives, plus loaned and donated treasures from collectors with personal ties to the town of Santa Claus.

2:30 p.m.

Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial
& Living Historical Farm
This splendid National Park is the site where Abraham Lincoln grew up.  Learn about the lives of Abraham Lincoln and his family, who lived here in a pioneer community from 1816 to 1830.  The Memorial Visitor Center, which features two Memorial Halls, a museum with newly updated exhibits and a 15-minute orientation film. The Lincoln Living Historical Farm is a working pioneer homestead with a cabin, outbuildings, split rail fences, animals, gardens and field crops.  Rangers in period clothing perform a variety of activities typical of the 1820s.

Colonel William Jones Home
This carefully restored 1834 Federal-design home of the merchant employer of Abraham Lincoln offers a unique look at the early development of Indiana and the life of Colonel William Jones, who was also a politician.  The home includes guided tours, themed talks and exhibits.

Lincoln Pioneer Village & Museum
The Lincoln Pioneer Village Museum houses hundreds of fascinating artifacts from the area's historic past including a hutch made by Abraham Lincoln’s father, Thomas.  Located next to the museum is the historic Lincoln Pioneer Village, consisting of cabins that are replicas from the Lincoln era in Spencer County.  This site was originally a W.P.A. project.

Buffalo Run Farm, Grill & Gifts
Buffalo Run sits on property where Abraham Lincoln’s cousin, Dennis Hanks once lived.  The theme of this property is commemorative of the Buffalo Trace, which once ran through Spencer County near Buffaloville.  If you’ve never had the chance to actually see live buffalo, Buffalo Run offers this rare opportunity to you during a farm tour.  Live buffalo are kept in the fenced pasture located just behind the restaurant and shop.

Holiday World
Theme Park & Splashin’ Safari Water Park

Visit the World's First Theme Park and Indiana's Largest Water Park in Santa Claus, Indiana.  Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari offers a large assortment of rides, water attractions, live shows and entertainment, shopping and food - plus visits with Santa Claus.  For the more adventuresome, there are thrill rides including two of the nation's top 10 wooden roller coasters.  Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari were voted the "Nation’s Friendliest" and "Cleanest" Parks in 2005 and were also awarded the 2004/2005 International Applause Award.

Dr. Ted’s Musical Marvels
A guided tour of this magnificent collection of restored mechanical musical instruments, including nickelodeons, orchestrions, music boxes and street organs.  Take a trip back in time as you listen to the magical music produced by these amazing instruments.  Also features a gift shop.

3:00 p.m. 

Saint Meinrad Archabbey and Abbey Press Gift Shop
Saint Meinrad Archabbey offers a peaceful and spiritual retreat with beautiful grounds and the opportunity for prayer with Benedictine monks.  Founded in 1854, Saint Meinrad is one of only two archabbeys in the United States; one of nine in the world.  Abbey Press, an international marketer of religious and inspirational books, cards and gifts, operates a gift shop that is open daily. 

4:00 p.m. Depart for Home
