Besides being a beautiful place, the conservatory and sunken gardens can also be an enjoyable learning experience. Horticultural and environmental topics that relate to plant life are the main focus of special programs, guided and self-guided tours. An interesting historical tour of the Sunken Garden is also available. During the holidays the conservatory is decked out with brilliant displays of poinsettias.
