Located on the southeast corner of the Rockville Square in the 1879 Jail. Parke County - the Covered Bridge Capital of the World! Over half of Indiana's covered bridges are here in this Covered Bridge Heartland County, with 32 of those historic structures, two old grain mills, two historic districts, Billie Creek Village, three state parks, award winning Parke County Covered Bridge Festival beginning the second Friday in October and over eighty year-round events. On the Southeast corner of the Rockville Square is the 1879 jail.
